Weeks Marine Win $17.4 Million Sand Placement Contract
Dredging today published a news on 3rd Dec 2018 shown Weeks Marine Inc. Has won two dredging projects contract in North Carolina, and the project is worth $17.4 million
According to the release from U.S. Department of Defense lately “two birds were solicited with two bids received”, which shown the biding is won by Weeks Marine, a maritime construction company based in Covington, LA.
The project will be performed in Carolina beach and Kure beach and be estimated completed on 15th May, 2019, in ordedr to protect the integrity of the infrastructure and property in towns during storms. And the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will make decisions where and how much sand putting on the beach leading the contracting activities.
